Like the mods before us, we want to spread the word about Kacchako and share all of the wonderful ideas and creations of fellow lovers of Kacchako throughout the fandom. Kacchako Week is a creation period focused on the Boku no Hero Academia character ship Kacchako between Bakugou Katsuki and Uraraka Ochako. The event will last eight (8) days this year from August 5th through August 12th, 2024. For those 8 days, creators are invited to produce any artistic content they'd like while following the daily prompts provided. This year, we wanted to guarantee an NSFW Kacchako Week and have combined it alongside our traditional SFW Kacchako Week to run simultaneously. Any creations that fall into 18+/R18 territory (typically rated M for Mature or E for Explicit) will be handled by our NSFW Twitter account and NSFW AO3 Collection. Traditional SFW content will continue to be retweeted by our SFW Twitter account and housed in our SFW AO3 Collection.Originally, Kacchako Week started as Kacchako Bittersweet Week in 2018 and has been going strong through the varying teams of moderators since then. We hope you join us as we celebrate our love of Kacchako once more! You can learn more about our mod team here.

Mod Amii can be seen screaming into the void about all her favorite characters when not teaching children music or stuck in grading jail. She is a multi-shipper in many fandoms but keeps coming back to the Angry Boom Kid and the One That Floats Things (she is probably crying over them right now).Year 2024 has been a reintroduction to fandom for Mod Amii. She is currently working on completing many fics and zines while celebrating her 4th year as Head Mod of Kacchako Week.

Mod Love can be found frantically dashing back and forth between her master's program and fandom life. Love is an avid multi-shipper, seeing the potential for all ships, but she wholeheartedly identifies Kacchako as one of her favorites.Although this is her first time modding for a fandom event, Love has participated as a writer in several bangs and exchanges within the My Hero fandom.

Mod Ash has spent the last few years primarily as a cheerleader and supporter in the fandom, but Kacchako has become a huge comfort and inspiration in rekindling their creative outlet. They’ve overcome hurdles and are barreling towards creative output and contributing to things they love: drawing and My Hero Academia! This is their first time moderating for a themed ship-week and is responsible for this year's illustrations! They are also a spot artist in the upcoming KCHK529 zine, as well as participating in the 2024 Kacchako Big Bang!

Lilla is a creative artist who loves to indulge herself in many ways: from cosplay to photography, video editing to graphics. Kacchako helped her improve her graphic style by making MMVs and animations, but above all, Kacchako helped her believe in her abilities.2024 is a year full of news and here she is working for the first time for Kacchako Week, ready to improve her graphic skills even further and rekindle her love for Kacchako while waiting for some new crumbs.
